From the Ganza DC 2019 Committee
We are very excited to begin the process of accepting band applications for this year’s extravaganza! New to the extravaganza preparation process is Nikola Vranesevic who, along with the help of committee members Paula Poskon (co-chair) and Veronica Ujevich (co-chair), will be serving as band coordinator for the upcoming 2019 Washington, D.C. Tamburitza Extravaganza®. We are looking forward to working with each and every one of you to bring together a fantastic musical production!
What a great place to have the extravaganza, located in the heart of our country’s capital! The local committee has a ton of unique, fun, and exciting ideas for this year’s extravaganza! We look forward to it being an amazing experience and thank you in advance for your continued interest and support of our culture and music!

From the TAA Board
The Tamburitza Association of America (TAA) is committed to producing the best Tamburitza Extravaganza® possible for all of its members, musicians, and attendees—one that supports the growth of our association through the preservation and promotion of our Tamburitza music. In alignment with that effort, at right are the forms, and below that, some rules & procedures which will provide for the best possible selection and combination of performers. Additional guidelines and policies are available upon request. We intend that our selection process will be fair, open, and clear. Inclusive of ALL peoples who love to play Tamburitza music, across its many forms.
If you would like to be considered to be a performer at the Washington DC Tamburitza Extravaganza® - September 2019, please read through the material supplied on right, then fill out your application (electronically, or via UPS Mail) and submit back to us.
Please note that all music performances must be primarily acoustic-folk, include Tamburitza instrumentation, and be appropriate for our family-oriented event. Final band selections for the this year's TAA Tamburitza Extravaganza® should be completed by end of April or sooner.
